Dear Follower of Jesus,
As we close our journey through Orthopraxis 2024, I'm filled with gratitude for our shared experiences. We've explored some deep truths together, wrestling our way out of myopic narratives into God's grand vision and story for creation and our lives. Now, we stand ready to carry these visions and values into our lives.
Our final lesson, an exhortation, will draw from the transformative actions of early Christians during Rome's devastating plagues (AD 165 & AD 250). Their fearless love and hospitality in the face of suffering guide us toward a vital and inspiring truth: when God lives in us, the Church, it transforms us and the world around us.
This is more than the end of our sessions; it's the beginning of living out our faith in new, deeper ways. Our scriptures are not just words but a call to embody Christ's love and hospitality every day. I pray, as Paul did, that you're rooted and established in love, ready to embrace and extend God's boundless grace to all.
As we part, remember this is not just about living for God but letting God live in and through us, making our ordinary lives extraordinary expressions of His love.
Because He Lives,
