Grow Down?

"I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18: 3

Often, when I think about this verse, I am drawn to think about how we are to be child-like in order to better embrace the kingdom of heaven.

It’s time, as Lincoln Steffens has said, to “unlearn”.

Here are some ways I think we can “unlearn” and “become like little children”. 



Kids are Trusting. 

Kids Get Up. Kids often fall, but they always get up. 



Kids Play with Everyone.



Kids are Happy to play with Everything and Anything.

Kids Forgive and Forget.



Kids, They Believe they can be Anything 
.

Kids cry.

Kids are curious.

Kids sing and make music.

May God’s love nurture and feed us and cause us to grow-down.
