SPOTS OF COLOR ON A GREY DAY
So this morning, my daughter (Isabella) and I, hit up Starbucks. Bella got her chocolate milk I got my coffee. She sits next to me, pouring her milk into a tiny Starbucks cup acting like she’s drinking coffee like daddy. She stares, we drink together. Sun’s not quite awake, morning dew still tickles my senses… I turn from the window to find my daughter waiting to show me her smile. She’s loving this, our version of Cup of Tea. Instantly, her smile splashes color unto a rather bleak metallic morning. I turn heavenward in my heart, “Father, thank you for my daughter. Thank you for her joy.”
I am complete in God for he knows how to color my world and he teaches me to “see” it daily.
